Hi
![]() If you work out please share it by posting here My Workout Morning Jog - (each day) I jog each morning and it takes me about 40 - 60 minutes (depending on weather and Zeeko) i have three routs and my longest is about 4¾km around 3 mile and my Dog Zeeko comes with me because its good fr him as well (and he enjoys it very much as we play on the way) if its raining we jog fast and if its a nice morning we take our time, theres nothing like a run then a nice shower to start the day ![]() The Gym - (twice a week) 1) 5 minutes stretching to loosen up 2) Running Machine 5 minutes fast jog (to warm up, tones legs) 3) Full Squat 3 sets of 8 reps (good for thighs, all over toning and cardiovascular) 4) Bench Press 3 sets of 8 reps (good for the bust, all over toning) 5) Peck Deck 3 sets of 8 reps (bust and upper back) 6) Lat Bar Pull Down 3 sets of 8 reps (for arms, tummy and back) 7) Bench Dips 3 sets of 8 reps (arms and shoulders) 8) Kneeling Backward Raise 3 sets of 10 reps each leg Leg (keeps your bottom round and firm) 9) Running Machine 8 minutes fast jog down to a walk to cool down and finnish, tones legs This takes about 50- 60 minutes and i will be changing exercises on about the 8th week so as not to be doing the same thing week after week all the time. I enjoy my work out at the Gym its good fun and its good for my health, i have a great teacher / training partner (Dek) who is a great guy, its not Body Building but i am very fit and i intend keeping my figure toned but feminine, i also watch what i eat but i don't make my self not have some Chocolate if i want it. In shape is sexy ! Ann X

I was in the Army for 6yrs so I'm all done work out wise these days!
Ive got an overactive thyroid so the only workout I need to do is eat and drink and the good little guy in my neck takes care of everything else. I havent put a pound on since 1994 and I like it this way. You can keep your expensive Gym's I'll keep my thyroid! ![]() Oh and if Im feeling really sad I can still run 1 1/2 miles in 7m45s |

I see you have Hyperthyroidism a girl at work has the same, best you stay out of Gyms as it would be counter productive to push your metabolism higher via exercise.

Take my dog for a quick walk in the morning, a 3 mile walk to work, 3 miles back and then a couple of miles when I take my dog out at night again.
Try and do some weights every other night and get out on my bike a bit too. |

Been a couch potato since breaking my leg in May but now I'm back to the gym with a vengence.
Usually do 10mins treadmill (10k/hr), 10mins cross trainer, 10 mins bike and then strength work on the machines. I don't do free weights since I'm big enough and try to trim down rather than bulk up. I intend to start cycling to work again from tomorrow it's only 4.5 miles each way but it's enough to start with on a mtb. I have to do yearly fitness tests for work so I need to get my finger out or my boss will be on my back, mind you I think I have missed this years testing so fingers crossed I'm in the clear til next summer! However the best thing about the gym is the sauna/steam room once you have finished....I'm sure I live in the wrong country...LOL |
