Default Vista (permission to download)

Having problems with Vista again, what a load of crap!

When i download a file or program it asks for a permission to allow this request, give 2 options either to allow it or cancel it.

Some programs that i am trying downloaded are giving me errors, i think it coz it keeps on asking me permission to download and not downloading all files to be downloaded.

The programs are compatible with Vista, i.e Nero 7 etc How do i disable this permission request?

Hi Tee

To get rid of this

Open up Control Panel, and type in user account into the search box. You'll see the link for "Turn User Account Control (UAC) on or off". Click it. Uncheck the box, and reboot your computer.

Microsoft highly recommends that you do not do this. To make their point, after you ignore them and do it anyway, you will see a little red X shield icon in your taskbar, telling you about the security risk, how to rid yourself of that is in Control Panel, go to the Security Center. On the left hand side, click the "Change the way Security Center alerts me" and choose "Don't notify me and don't display the icon (not recommended) so Microsoft says
