Default eurovox max v problems

Hi all,

Im having problems with my eurovox v. I have read many threads on many sites with no luck for my particular problem.

It is a new box i have flashed it with the latest firmware which came with it. I have tried a power scan with symbol rates 6952 & 6887 and im sure it is finding channels as the indicater will jump from 10% to 98% many many times during the scan.

Whilst it is scanning I the 'CH NUM' stays blank and 'TP:000' doesnt change.

After the scan has completed im left with a blank list page, I dont think its storing any channels???

I have tried changing emm capture to enabled although i dont know what it does. I live in a V**G*N area, but I cant an entry for it when you type 1968 twice at language screen. I have checked every list to the very bottom that pops up when you scroll across.

I live in Harrow, NW London if that helps and I have a direct cable connection, No splitters.

I really dont know where to go from here and I think ive tried all the information i could dig up.

Would I be needing a Channel Data File for my area???

Any help will greatly appreciated.

try doing a factory reset to 6952 then reflashing,if that dont workload a service file for your area.

your not finding transponders thats why.What software have you got on box?Have you a splitter before box?If you have the software where you can do a region scan this will be better.Go to menu, config,clear data then down to reset will come up with all t**w areas yours should be on there.i find more channels that way.
