Eurovox max - No signal - Techwatch: Satellite TV forums, FTA, Cable, Hardware, & Tech forums

hi guys,
i got vm broadband installed today, i previously bought a eurovox max box, because i used to have one, and knew about it capabilities, with getting tv channels, however, i flashed the bew box with software and plugged in all the leads and done a scan, but the epg, is telling me what is on, but the screen is black, with a blue box in the middle saying No signal or searching for signal.

i tried it on a mates feed, and i can get tv channels, but it wont work at my house any suggestions, i'd greatly appreciate it, want to watch the football tonight.

my internet is working, i am posting this message from the feed

did you put the splitter on your self and what is the cable like

hi,
i did not put a splitter on yet, i'm switching between the feed between the eurovox box and the caBle modem.

i live in manchester will i have to change something regarding the symbol rate

need some help guys, will i just reset, via the button inside the box, and start again
