You dont need them as long as you have the correct box and firmware it will autoscan for you. Presuming you have the correct MMDS equipment in place from Ch**us, i.e aerial, downconvertor and power inserter.

sorry to be annoying you now but does the aerial have to adapted to recieve the digital freqs??i presume that the an old aerial already used to recieve analog freqs has a downconverter..or am i wrong??

Best thing to have in place is a Ch**rus MMDS set up as you will require the correct downconvertor to pick up channels.

Hi satsmo, i just got star view the box ,abi ver..4.50e_E boot ver..7.0 5.july. 2007..... im connected to mmds from ntl true wire feed..... just wondering can u help me i can only get city channel,sentanta and city channel, apg..... i tryed full scan got nothing...... im in wicklow ireland........ thanks

If you are sure you are in N** MMDS area as some parts of Wicklow are Ch**us analogue. Is your box new or second hand as all new boxes come with FTA 4.54 firmware and you have to reflash it.

Is your key emu on. Press menu, type 1570 on remote and check it.

I have euro vox max working at home already but cant get this 1 to work ??? i have that set through ntl......
