Final word on my DVD problems;
After some suggestions from satsmo in a PM about scart leads, I went out and bought a heavy duty one that is well screened.
Had to mortgage the house in order to be able to buy it but it was well worth while as it has eliminated most of the problem, and the bit thats left I can live with.
Knew satsmo would find the solution.
Many thanks to him.
Sincere thanks to lucky13 as well for all his help.
Thanks to everyone else for not being up in arms at me for including the DVD subject in this thread.
It is happily and successfully concluded now.
Great!

419.000 Mhz 6.997 Maud QAM64
This is the channel list from page 32

Mine is the same except I dont have 394.000 or 419.000 for some reason.

Im confused as to why 418.250 is not mentioned in that list however as it was mentioned a few posts prior to it. It is the same as 419.000 or what?

418.250 is the exact subbed box frequency. As the Eurovox scans in 8Mhz steps thats why it picks up .000 at each TP. You can alter each TP though.

Anyone missing channels?
My channel 4 has gone, along with some others like Sky 1.
Any remedies?

Did you try autoscan. If you go out of favourites back to tv ie, go through channels 1,2,3 up to whatever they may be there at the very end.

Thanks for that.
Will autoscan change the favourite positions?
I see that At The Races has gone as well.

No. Same happened to me so thats what I did. Worked fine. channels got added on at very end of channel listings. It was E4 or something that went. You'll probably find you'll have two channel 4's but just delete the one not working.

Just looking at Satsmo's frequency list Channel 4, at the races, sly1 are on 347.500 so you might want to change 347.000 to 347.500 then do an autoscan. Same with 419.000. Change it to 418.250

N*L altered the transmission for C4

Easiest thing to do is simply a 'Manual Scan' (blue button) on frequency 347.000 (or 347.500)

Thanks for that lucky13.
Can you give me the individual steps, please.
Does the same procedure apply to restoring all of the missing channels?
