Frequencies have not changed as I have the exact same frequencies as a subbed box and none of my channels are missing. The problem seems localised to a point with some people saying they have problems.
If you are doing an autoscan/update channels, with the latest firmware. Make sure autosort is off beforehand. |

Had the pleasure of talking to N*L yesterday on my lack of cable - the agent advised me that Channel 4 (and a couple of others) was being moved by them (the frequency didn't change but sommat did can't remember her phraseology) and if I lost the channel to do a re-scan to pick it up.
Gladly cablefeed sorted yesterday pm. Channel 4 disappeared this am from my box so just rescanned it Definitely agree though this change was different to the FilmFour one the last time. Quote:
Go to Menu / Installation / User Installation Highlight the frequency. Press OK (a tick mark will appear beside it) and press blue button (Manual). This will re-scan that frequency only.

She was talking about channel PIDs but they havent changed either. Yes even subbed boxes are been affected. Something else is going on alright, but will leave it for now as I havent looked at the stream log because mine hasnt changed so cannot verify.
Channelhopper is using my CDF, so leads me to believe its somewhat localised. There is more to this than the previous film 4, channel 4 and filmfour channel moves due to freesat rights issues in Ireland. Or even the previous TP changes. With multicrypt in use I have my suspicions, but thats all they are until further investigation. Need to look at it for a while and see where it is going. |

fj1200 has cracked this missing channels stuff. You don't need to do a power scan - just an autoscan. The channels you're missing will appear at the end of the list - not the favourites list, but the all channel list. Now delete the original channel names and reorder the new ones in your favourites.
