Hey Lads,
New to the forum but well done!
Have tried auto scanning and manual scan but no joy. Tried this on the new and old frequencies - still nothing. Missing Ch 4, Sky etc.
Have gone through the full channel listing and there is definately not 2 of any one channel.
Any thoughts?
Living in D6W.

hi lads

im just about to hook this eurovox max up
ive been told that all i do is take old box out put new one in and powescan for channels,
if any are missing to add them manually
is this correct?
i have also read on this site about a symbol rate what is this
i am using vi*gin and live in belfast, any help would be appreciated

Not necessarily, you will need to make sure it is flashed with the latest firmware. BTW Belfast is exN** so use symbol rate 6887.

how do you delete a frequencie cos i did a power scan between 291 to 419 and it has doubled up on a couple of channels which are blank i did it because i flashed it yesterday im in dublin with a euro vov red cheers for any help!

You dont delete the frequency. You delete the blank duplicates. Press menu, then channels, channel manager. Go to each blank channel, press blue button and then red button. Press OK on each individual channel you want to delete and press OK.

Exit all the way back when finished.

thanks a mil didnt know how to do that wanted to delete a couple of channels for a while now!!! like euro news etc big help cheers again!

the box is already set up with latest filmware

I went ahead and did the manual scan but still no joy! Not sure what's going on with it now. Ithas the firmware update etc. Any thoughts? Anyone else experiencing the same problem?
