You need to either do a powerscan with symbol rate 6887, start at 290.000Mhz and end at 420.000Mhz or download a Dublin N** CDF here http://www.techwatch.co.uk/forums/177195-post234.html

Better off having a look through the CDF thread CDF Files for the Eurovox and if not post and see if someone is obliging enough to post an updated one for you.
Are you missing channels? |

Whats the quickest way to get your channels back when they disappear?
Satsmo last time I had this problem you gave me a frrequency and I found what I was after. If I increase the frequency further would I locate missing channels? Had 112 yesterday but 94 today, don't care about most of the them but have lost the likes of LFC TV and Setanta Sports which I use a bit. I've tried a power scan but it doesn't pick up any channels, I only pick them up doing a manual scan. |

I see you are in Dublin are you on MMDS or true cable. Also what firmware are you using. On cable you should be getting about 139 TV channels.

I'm on cable using the latest firmaware from 28/04/08. I've never had anywhere near 139 TV Channels. I think 112 is the most I've ever got. When I do an update no new channels seem to be picked up on ch1 freq 290, is that the norm? |

That may be your problem you need to use the 18/04/08 firmware the 28/04/08 firmware was specifically for a tuner driver fault, (did you have an 8% problem when scanning with other firmware). The 28/04/08 will work on other boxes but the 18/04/08 is the recommended firmware to use.
You can either load the CDF for Dublin http://www.techwatch.co.uk/forums/177195-post234.html or do a scan again after you have loaded the firmware. You will need to do a factory reset after you have flashed so the CDF would be the best option, I have it updated and set into FAVs. What part of Dublin are you in and are you carrying out the scan from the direct feed, i.e. no splitters. As this would also cause lose of TPs. Last edited by satsmo; 24-07-08 at 06:13 PM. |
