Which firmware revision are you using? Press menu, config and system info and post the SW version.

Hi, first post here and have to say it's a great site you have going. Fair play to all of you who take the time in helping the rest of us out.

Anyhoo, I'm in a bind. I have a Max V that has stopped working. The distribution box in the house went a few, (3), weeks ago and since it has been replaced, the box isn't working. I'm assuming that it's a coincidence that it went at the same time as the distribution box, the new one of which has been installed exactly like the last one.

I've tried scanning for the channels but I can't even pick up a single one. I'm in Dublin so have used the 6.887 N** code but nada. I have entered the keys that are on the bigmaq toolbar but again nothing. Have the keys/ frequencies/ codes been changed in the last couple of weeks??

As I said, it's a Max V - S/W version 1.0 STC4 18/04/08. Any help or hints would be appreciated. Cheers.

You dont need keys with that firmware as it AUs. Sounds like a cabling problem according to your post. Do you have a subbed box and is that working?

Hi, how's it going? Excuse my ignorance but whats a subbed box?

The set-up in the house is standard N*L cable into a distribution box which then pipes it around the house. Do you think the new distribution box, or how it was installed may be the problem?

But yet you say the connection is live. Can you get FTA channels on the Eurovox, e.g. RTE1?

No, all I am getting is 'channel currently not available'. Because I have the eurovox connected to the TV through the dvd recorder I can watch the FTA channels.

Plug the coax into the cable in RF port on the back off the EV. Do you get channels now? If not do a factory reset and powerscan on 6887 from 290.000Mhz to 420.000Mhz.
