I've also got the codes, and like previous poster I can't get past the language settings with 1968. I just wanted to sort it for tonight quickly. I presume I will have to flash the EV with the latest firware ? Any obs most welcome.

You shouldn't have to re-flash your box to get it working. With the max v you press Menu and it brings up Preferences with Language Settings highlighted (don't click language settings) press the Yellow button on the remote and it brings up the Nagra Edit screen. No need to enter 1968 but I guess that could be model dependent.

Thanks for that mate. I've tried the menu & yellow button thing, input the codes and still nothing. In the past I was able to manually input with the 1968 x2. Now I can't. Am I out of the game ???? Or will flashing bring it back to life ? I have the correct cable, what I don't have is the ability to see straight after a particularly hard night last night !!!!! Again, any help appreciated, Thanks.

Hi All
I updated by eurovox about 6 months ago with an rs232 cable and software. worked fine till last night. If I get new codes can I just add them under exit/preferences/language/yellow button ? If this is true , then maybe someone would be good enough to pm me them please ? If not true , Do I need to run the update exe on page 55 from Lucky ? As always , thanks BT |
