Yes using 6.875, but again did try 6.887 and 6.952 just in case.

Hi All

Just to let you know I tried today to get a null modem rs232 serial cable from Mapl1n in Blancardstown but they were sold out. The guy behind the counter said it was to do with N*L changing the keys.

I ended up buying a RS 232 to 15 pin null modem and then a 15 pin to rs232 adapter. Took it home and it worked the advise on page 55 and the toolbar link.

Hi Steve, i really would appreciate some help for you. I am in Dublin with NT Hell using a Eurovox EX 5000. All channels are scrambled so what do i do to get them back.

Pembroke, Google "chatterbox toolbar" and download it. From the toolbar click on the k*y symbol/k*y links/unzipped content/open/next/unzip now.
Open the text file and look for the 18/12/2008 update at the bottom of the page. Also check out lucky13's update on Page 55 #548 of this thread.

If you get all the other channels I can't see any reason why you shouldn't, that said, the last 2 days it hasn't been working properly for me. Did a manual scan yesterday and it started working again however today its just saying the channel is scrambled. Not too fussed personally, especially as all the other channels are working fine but keep getting reminded by the nipper that its not working!

Hi - am a Ch*r*s user with a Eurovov PVR 5000. When watching Setanta channels, box often crashes - screen blanks for about 30 secs but generaly recovers. Kids lalso say problem happens on Nick. Would appreciate any advice/suggestions on this.

I lost signal yesterday on my Eurovox 1000 and my Eurovox 5000 PVR. I got a code from fixya.com and now my PVR is working but my 1000 has room to input 2 more digits so it's still down. Any solutions?
