Hi everyone.
I wanted to start a new post but I could not see a way in which to do it. The problem is that the programme guide is out by an hour all the time. Even if I change the time on the clock - which is also ahead by an hour - to the current time, the programme list is still an hour in advance. Any advice on how to bring the clock and the guide into line would be much appreciated. |

Its a problem specific to the Irish EPG stream, in the UK it can be fixed by setting GMT to 00:00, but in Ireland you need to follow these instructions:
1. Pull plug on the back of the EV for a few seconds then plug back in again.. 2. When EV powers up, immediately press menu, config and time settings. 3. Set correct time using GMT settings. 4. Then turn GMT OFF. 5. Press blue button to save and exit. It may take more than one attempt so just be patient, it does work. One thing to note though when you have the EPG correct, is to just put it in standby at night, if you unplug it you will have to go through the whole process again. |

Press menu, config, clear data and clear channel data. Then do a normal powerscan with symbol rate 6875 and a frequency range from 274.000 to 460.000.
Please make sure you are plugged into the direct feed for the scan. |

Is your area MMDS feed from a local transmitter, or are you feed from an MMDS area on your roof, dont think your area is true cable. However it if it is MMDS it will work as you are in an N** area. BTW you need to update your firmware.

I think that its through a local transmiter. Not 100% tho. I've tried everything that has been mentioned on the thread, but no luck. I think that it just won't work in my area.
BTW how do i update my firmware (stupid question probably) ![]() |
