Hi.im living in limerick,I have ch**us/n*l digital mmds.Just wondering which box to buy.they are a few different ones such as eurovox,starview and a few others. which one of these would yee recommend in regards to ease of use,value and reliabilty and which website would be the best to buy from.Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Need to know if you are on Ch**us or N** MMDS as they use two different DVB variants, I will then tell you what you need to know.

hi. i thought that ch**us and n*l have joined together. i thought they are called upc now. thats whats on my bill anyway.i was with chorus before they joined together and my mmds box hasnt been changed since they joined together.cheers satsmo.

Yes they have changed to one name but still retain different symbol rates and frequencies. As said you need a box with a T type tuner for Ch**us MMDS which you are on. A Eurovox TX or The Box T are the easiest to set up, you could go down the DM500T route but they are a bit harder to set up.

Regards a website for both just google for the best deal as neither box has been cloned yet. If you want specific sites just let me know or try Lincsat here, I know he does the DVB-C versions, he may also do the T type versions.

Thanks for the info.just wandering would the frequencies u would use on with the eurovox tx be the same for the box t. or are the frequencies the same for all the boxes u would use for chorus mmds.

Yes frequencies are similar for both boxes but do depend upon location.

has anyone the freq andcodes for mmds in the limerick area...... for the eurovox 08,,,,,,,,,,, workin on cable but not on mmds areial on roof,,,,

Hi.just wandering does these boxes come with everything u need.Also I keep reading alot bout people having problems with there boxes cos of not having the right software or it needs to be updated. And does autoscanning usually suffice to get most of channels . Think i might follow your advice and get the Box T .On website bubblecableboxes.com cos it says its pretty easy to set up. Thanks again.

Bit confusing you are looking for MMDS frequencies, but say you are not on MMDS?
