Default Adding an extra Cable Point

Hi.
Im thinking of adding an extra Virgin Media Cable Point to my bedroom so I can recieve channels through a Eurovox box. I currently have the Cable Modem in the computer room plugged into the OmniBox outside.
Can I add an extra cable to the OmniBox as this would be alot easier than drilling another hole in the computer room and adding a splitter to the Cable Modem line :\
Is this what im saying possible or is it the splitter idea.
If I do have to go for the splitter way. Is there any easy way of bringing an extra cable up to my bedroom?

Could you put the splitter in the Omnibox? Can't really give any other advice without knowing the full layout.

I opened the the little black box outside my house (i'm not suppose to ) and I found that all it was.. was a thick black co-axial cable, which then attached to a white cable that went to my lounge. So I put a spliter on that black cable and got another white cable........Now I have two line feeds, one up stairs and one downstairs

Wow thats great then. When you opened the black/brown box. Was it a straight cable or was it two cables a fixed.
Whats it like to install a new line? Is it easy. Since im only 16 I need to persuade my mum some how to let me do this lol.
Thanks

Mine was One Thick/black cable only, then that attached to a white one, that went into my lounge.

Yes mate it is very very easy, just get a splitter >> put black cable into Input >> get two other coaxial cables >> Supply one to your lounge, another to where ever you want.

very easy

Right. So do you have to cut the cable into two where the black cable is and then put in the splitter?
How long kind of drill piece do you need to drill through a standard brick wall?
Thanks

if i were you, id not risk that, before cable goes into cable box downstairs, put a splitter on there, and run a cable upstairs to your other box

Thanks jimbo. But i dont have a cable box downstairs. I only have Cable line in the computer room. Which is a converted garage. So I got to drill through the wall anyways.

well depending on how strong the brick or plaster skimm is, you may need an expensive drill bit, best of luck.

lol Thanks.
Well i went to go look at the Omnibox today and pulled the front panel off. Found a place where i can put a splitter as there are two cables with a screw connector.
Whats the little white panel that goes on the wall inside the house? Hoping to make it look professional as possible.
Cheers
