As requested - Here's a schematic/pinouts of the JTAG points on Sammy and Pace boxes, together with photo's of a Pogo JTAG in use, note that there are several 0v points and the 0v pin could connect to any of them, not only the one in the picture.
When soldering, make sure you don't spill solder onto neighbouring connectors. When Pogo'ing, make sure you have a good firm connection on the centre of the pads. Last edited by lincsat : 07-01-08 at 01:29 AM. Reason: clarification |

hi lincsat,
i get the picture for sammy illustration, which is really great and crystal clear by the way, but what do i connect the other end of the pogo cable to and how do i do that. thanks a million. |

you connect the other end to the printer port mate, there should be wire with the pins and a connector on the other end which connects to the board, have you just got the pins, or the full pogo jtag?

if you go to maplins and get a plastic slot which slides onto the JTAG Interface, the bit which is numbered CC, MS, CK etc, you will need to solder the cable or might be able to just slot it in to the new plastic piece.
