got a sammy 2100c unmodified i plugged it in to see if it works all im gettin is 8888 on display wat does that mean a duffed box??

unsure mate but put it this way i had a pace one like that and i use it as spares

it can mean that the atmel chips are goosed or they need reflowing its not an easy job to fix if its that
you could pull the battery for 30seconds then power up see if anything happens

found the problem somebody dropped soldier flux over the jtag points cleaned it up and its working fine im gona get a pogo jtag instead of using universal 1 which 1 is best that will do sammys and pace is it the 8 wire 1??

You can buy the pogo ends with cable to attach to your jtag from fleet computer systems, they do a pace one or sammy one.

yes you may have to join up the wires if it does not have the clip on it, but that should be less of a problem than using solder.

where can i get these pogo ends will tailormade circuits have them wat aabout lincasts nick nack.?
iv seen a 10 and 20 way on ebay will them be upto the job??

nick does not do them as far as i know you can get them here >Fleet Computer Systems delivery very quick.
