Newbie here !! - Techwatch: Satellite TV forums, FTA, Cable, Hardware, & Tech forums

Hi all I am currently a subscriber to Telewest digital (now Virgin) I have the deluxe package plus sky sports I also have 4mb broadband but this costs me a small fortune each month, so the question I have to you guys is how can I get it all for free ?

hi what you need to do is read some of the threads and reserch when you decide which option you will go for there will be loads of people who will help you out

I have read a few of the threads, but they mention buying new cable box's and modems cant I just do something with the ones I already have ?

if they are ones you pay for off vm then no very bad idea

OK this is my situation I currently pay for the XL TV package, phone & 4mb broadband, so if I disconnect my TV & broadband and just keep my phone that will cost me £14.95 per month and I get virgin TV medium package free then all I need is a Eurovox and a pre-patched modem from Lincsat and I will have a better service than I currently have for just £14.95 per month is this right ?

Red_staff call them and cancel everything but the phone, just say "I've stopped working, and I won't be able to pay the bills no more" lol.

After you've canceled everything (internet/TV)...then you can modifiy your equipment to get the services for free.

but mension you want freeview from them because otherwise they might stop all signal to the house via the coxial cable and then you wont get anything.
