I am no expert however I am 99.9% sure that you are able to do this without affecting your broadband.

Cool let me know how you get on.

I am trying to find the article where I had read it was possible etc. If I find it I will post it here.

If anyone can let me know if this is possible, I would also appreciate it as I am thinking about doing something very similar.

I have currently 1 cable feed to an ntl box within the living room and 1 coax feed supply a model upstairs. I wanted to split the modem feed into a 2 way splitter and then feed a eurovox and the modem, obviously without jeapordising performance of either.

Any advice would ab appreciated.

Kind regards P.

you can split the signal as many times as you like but you loose strength the more you split it try splitting with a booster it helped me

thanks for the reply. iis this booster likely to be necessary, based on just this one split? what will the quality of the picture be like/the modem speed with just a normal splitter?

one other matter, i'm not sure if it's relevant or not. iit is the the modem cable that runs directly from the box situated at the outside of the house, that i am thinking of splitting (and feeding the eurovox). is this acceptable? the cable feeding the existing cable box is supplied from an intenal white box. is this a problem?

thanks for your help, P.

Ok, i've been reading various posts and i'm a little confused. i'm not sure iwhat cable i should be splitting. can i split the cable feeding the modem and run the 2 outputs to the modem and the eurovox? or do i need to split the cable leaving the white box that runs to the cable box. please help.
