You will need the correct netid for your area for your box to work,if you change it to something else it wont work. what exactly are you trying to do,are you setting a box up for someone else in a different area or something?

That was the idea. I wanted to set it up at mine so he just has to plug it in.

if the box is going to a PURE area then netid might set itself depending on the box?,is it going to PURE?

Hmm Only funcard I can find is a 5 would this be any use ? If so do you ignore the extra Ext?

Yes you could use a fun 5 to net_id... use net_idv2 program from downloads or toolbar, and select your town, then enter ird + bk only, save exteep, inteep, flash.. and write to card..

were is this tut i cant find it .. please ... im stuck bad .. i have a working sammy 2100 .. just got a pace 4000n for a friend both of us in pure hell... the pace is on cr3 and has not had the no update mod the board is intact apart from talk back ,,,,, but i cant seem to get the net id to set via card .... in engineers menu the net id is 09999 i have set the pin manually and the freq but not net id ..
thanks in advance any helpers out there

just put the box on stream, you dont need to set net_id in pure area..

have done this. but it just sits at nit and flicks between er11 er12 then back to nit after ages it starts up saying channels are temp unavailable so i switch off and go back in em and net id is still 09999..
