Default flashing box problem

a friend has a 2007 box that has just gone off he cant even access the menu , so he is trying to re-flash it when he switches it on there is a green dot going in circles where the clock is , and when he tries to reflash it voxer says it cant find eurovox . any ideas or is box knackered. thanks

If the box is new it should be carrying a 12 month guarantee so send it back....if not you could I suppose open it up and try doing a reset by pressing the re-set button.. see if that helps at all...

tell him to use dnupman and when it says "waiting for response from receiver" to remove then reapply the power lead and it should reflash OK.....

if i try the re-set button do i need power on and when do i press the button , when i am trying to flash it or just open box and press it then try to flash thanks

you need the box powered up to press the reset button but i dont think this will solve the problem,if not try returning to the supplier as mentioned above,if you dont get any luck with him then your only option would be to j-tag it,if you get one from this guy it will come with all the software you need

box is switching on then off on its own so voxer finds eurovox then says connection lost . box switches on then green dots go round then box switches off. any ideas thanks
