2 questions on eurovox

hello all again
can anyone tell me .... is a cdf file a backup system? and if it is are there any tutorials on it?
Anddddd if i delete a channel on me eurovox eg a duplicate or a different region ITV etc will this cause a problem? im trying to clear up the sytem so that only "good" channels are on the system

You could call it a backup file alright.
When you save it to your PC via a null modem cable with either DnUpMan or Voxer it copies exactly all your channels and the Fav groupings, this can then be re-loaded if you mess up the channels on the box.

An easy way of getting rid of unwanted channels and sorting out the good ones is to load the .cdf (channel file) into Voxer and then play around with them before downloading the file back onto the box.

As for question 2 - No it won't cause a problem.

Once you spend the time to sort all channels out and into favs etc upload .cdf file which will help resore box in future.
Will also help others in quick set up of new boxes
