Default MTV & Kids Channels Stuttering

Now when i set up my eurovox i set it up through a pure cable line.
All the channels worked fine.
When i connect my splitter it makes the MTV channels except from MTV dance stutter. Also Nickelodeon stutters but not Nick Replay.
Do you think ill need a Booster?
There pricey and would prefer not going there.
Ive changedthe frequencies like on some other posts and no help :\
Any help apprieciated.

I get stuttering on star plus, don't watch any MTV and kids channels seem ok for me. All my other channels are fine as well, I don't think a booster will make any difference to me as I get 80%

Yer i get the exact same. My signal and quality seem fine but when it comes to putting in my splitter it breaks up and makes the squeeky noise.
But when its got a straight feed it just messes up.

It may well be that the signal from your ISP is borderline anyway and putting in the splitter is just making it that much weaker which it will do ,I seem to remember that you had bought a 4 way splitter, are you using that to connect other items ? using a booster may well be the answer to your problems, but your not going to know till you try unfortunately,so Ive no comforting answer for you,at the end of the day its signal strength that causing most of this freezing/jumping etc so think on that let us know the outcome as it may help others with the same problem ....

Well the signal strength is the same on every single channel. Even the MTV and Kids channels. Yer i have a 4 way splitter but only have broadband and the Eurovox plugged in. Even when i take out my broadband i get the same results on my Eurovox. I was thinking it could be the splitter. Anyways i ordered a new one yesturday better quality and its only a 2 Way splitter. So i will tell you the verdict tommorow hopefully when i recieve it.
I dont wanna pay like £30 for a booster either and especially when i have my eurovox plugged into a splitter on the outside in the Omnibox, so no power to the outside :\
Cheers

Sounds like your just marginal if the channels work on the pure cable stream. As you say try the splitter, straighten your cable and rescrew your F connectors to find that last nad of signal strength. Booster may be OTT for the 3/4 channels affected.

Cheers Rick

Well its a few more channels than MTV.
But i dont understand that when its through the Pure it works brilliantly. And then when i just put the 4 Way splitter in it without the broadband plugged in (Which is the only other Cable Device in my home) , it still does the exact same on the channels.
So i was thinking it could be a dodgy splitter. It was bought for £3.74 with postage. So ive bought a 2 way splitter for £5.49 with postage.
Cheers

Hey everybody.
Ive got the whole eurovox skipping channel thing sorted now.
What i had set up was an extension to my exisiting cable line which worked perfectly when i had it plugged into freeview.
I decided ooo lets just give that extension cable a change and hey presto it works like a charm. All my channels working brilliant.
I now have a 2 way cable splitter on the way. Ahh well it will just be a spare.
Cheers guys
