Hi, I just purchased a netgear wireless router off ebay advertised as cable but is actually adsl is there any way i can still use it.

Not unless it's also got an Ethernet input or WAN port - most don't

Oh dear hun you need to be so careful as to what you buy as descriptions can be quite deceiving, if you can post the model No of the Netgear i can then tell you exactly what you can use it for.
