Hi,

Does anyone know how to fix the sky sports channels from freezing on a dbox 2.

I have re-scanned several times but still have the problem. I have seen on other posts that the frequencies can be modified, can this be done on a dbox 2? if so, how ?

Any help would appreciated.

It's usually a signal strength issue, however there are a few other things you can try. Try changing the ucode, switching SPTS mode on or off, if you're brave, you could try changing some of the other driver and boot options like hardware sections or Avia watchdog - be aware there is a small chance that your box won't boot and you may have to re-flash the image with IFA, so take a backup first.

Thanks for the info, but unfortunately I don't know how to change the ucode or switch on /of SPTS mode.

Any instructions would be appreciated.

Problem has now been fixed - checked the advise on some of the other threads - it seems that the cable from the 4 way spliter was faulty. I replaced it with a new one and the channel are no longer freezing.
