If its a sammy boot box with no cable feed, when display says ld20 hold in down button for about 5secs or release when display says ld40, the standbye light should go green,then its in debug mode.

done that still not working for me. i think its somat to do with port settings on my computer but i dont where to find and wat settings they should be at.

Are you using 25pin parallel cable to printer port LPT1 ?

Go into my computer ,click on veiw system info, hardware, device manager, ports com+lpt, ecp printer port lpt 1, , port settings , make sure enable legacy p+p is ticked.

yes 25pin cable with DB25 male ends and a female for it to plug into jtag interface. just set up the port gona try again see wat happens.

EDIT.
just tryed again with no luck. bke and sammy debug tool both same error messages (error 43 followed by cable disconnected)
ocd error message is (wiggler not detected)
cant figure out where im going wrong.

just been reading up on some old posts it says without pin 8 and 15 connected hence error 43.
but my jtag interface is from fleet computer and its says on description that pin 8 and 15 are connected.

RESULT!!! think the 25pin cable is dodgy wat i did was i plugged the jtag interface direct onto port and it responded straightway got the IRD but bk doesent look right. i think i now need the correct bytes.
