Just the Flash - you need to check that your programmer doesn't erase the eeprom, some do - especially when detecting the card type.

To put it simply, the flash contains all the variables, the box key the IRD and the OP keys - the eeprom contains an image of an original card, everything you need to calculate the OP keys from the encryption data and your box key etc.

well if you loaded the flash for your area it should work, but if you have tryed to read the ext eeprom which looking at your other post you seem to have done, you may have erased it and need to redo the entire card, if by any chance you dont know your bk + ird then your going to have to retrieve them.

the very first thing i did was load the flash for my area and thats it and i put the card in my box but no joy. i remember some guy reading my card ages ago maybe he erased it so looks like im going to have to get my box key. so jimbo when i get my ird and box key i have to covert them into a hex with swapbinhex. this then goes into external eeprom rite? because i have read in some tutorials that it goe in internal eeprom so what one is correct?
