Black screen? - Techwatch: Satellite TV forums, FTA, Cable, Hardware, & Tech forums

Hey,just flashed my card with bk and ird.I used BoxGet for the bk and used BKE to convert the serial code,which i got from the engineers menu,for the ird.Then i wrote them to an image which i use all the time and it works perfect in other boxes but with this one i just get free to air channels and for encrypted channels i get a black screen.Any ideas?

How do I get the right one?I know jtagging the box can get it but it's a Pace
DK221KN,the new model supplied in Ireland,and i don't think ya can jtag it.Is there any other way?

never heard of that model, if its like ours it probably has to have a paired card, and not have a fake bk on it.

Nah i think i know whats wrong cuz the card was done by another guy and i reckon he just put the wrong bk in by accident that would explain it.Thanks in anyway man.

yep it will be the bk because i had that problem on a 2100 and i redone it and it gave a diff bk from what it originally gave and now it works
