Default Dbox2 or Eurovox MAX

All,

Out of these two boxes which is the best? Can both of them display in widescreen 16:9?

Thanks in advance

i can speak for dbox as i have it.. yes it can dispaly in 16:9 AFAIK Eurovox does not have support for 16:9. when i was searching for STB... i chose Dbox2 over eurovox...but again its a matter of personal choice... search for dbox2 Vs Eurovox on net and you'll get many divided opinions... overall using dbox2 isnt all that daunting..and as far as i have seen many eurovox owners have to do reflashing and updating as well... nothing is 100% and total userfree..

Had my Eurovox for couple weeks and no real problems at all with it.

I was unsure what to go for, but after reading this forum for few weeks it seemed the eurovox was a better choice.

I have to agree with you Shaktoo, I got the Nokia DBox2 recently and it's excellent (i've not customised anything yet!). Really like the 16:9 ratio, it's very natural when watching on an LCD panel too.

I haven't really be using it much though, get very nervous when i use it though, but I've been told there's no talk back etc so hopefully it is safe!

Nokia Dbox 2 was designed primarily for German market so there is NO way it can talk back...just isnt possible

That's great to hear! I'll let my vendor-supplied box do the talk-back

Hi,

thanks for your response, do you get all the channels? How many do you receive? Is it hard to scan for the channels?

Thanks
