i have just pm lincsat with this new software it sholld be on the download section shortly it is a new loader for black boxes only its a must

nope not found anything out ? This is what the INFO file said

IMPORTANT !!

With immediate effect use ONLY THIS program to flash the
EUROVOX MAX V 2008 Black Box. Failure to do so may cause
problems with your box in the future.



Reasons for this release:

Due to users reporting higher than normal problems with
the Eurovox Max V it was found that many different types
of Flash loading programs were being used to program the
boxes. These ranged from third-party loaders, 8FAV DNUPMAN,
4FAV DNUPMAN and right back to DABBAMAN which is 4 years old.
Some of these loaders are underground hacked programs intended
for other boxes entirely, and not fully compatible with
the EUROVOX MAX V.

This has lead to a large inconsistency in the software used
to flash the boxes, and in turn introduced problems.

Due to the unique nature of the flashing process, it is
critical that the correct loader is used. Therefore, to
avoid any confusion we have unified the image and loader
program into one easy-to-use file.

From this point onwards this is the only official way to
flash the Eurovox Max V.

Been away for a couple of weeks. Came back and saw this post.. wasn't having any problems but did it anyway.
Seems OK - all channels and favourites still there too. Phew..

Yes, really should have fixed the widescreen issue. For me, it is widescreen but doesn't seem to be anamorphic. You need to stretch it vertically which results in loss of picture quality..
I got files from here. (Eurovox options, then the UFL_MAX_V_06_09_07.zip file. Connect box with serial cable that came with it, plug box in and run the exe. Click 'download' and it does the rest....

I don't know what it is but since I used this flash I seem to be getting a much clearer picture when I use the box on my HD TV
