Mtv 1- No Sound - Techwatch: Satellite TV forums, FTA, Cable, Hardware, & Tech forums

Could any1 please help me, for some reason mtv1 from all channels has a slight default towards it especially on my cable reciever. For some reason no sound appears and now its getting very frustrating becuz i've tried all possible avenues to fix it i.e rescanning and all that have ya.
is any1 else experiencing the same problem and most importantly does any1 knows how to fix it.
please reply bk asap

I'm having the same problem on my Telewest box mate and I know a few other are too.

hi mate is it only mtv1 like i am experiencing or is there any more channels that also has no sound

Well last night I had problems with the sound on Kerrang! and MTV base....plus my picture was going crappy on the kids channels.

do an autoscan worked for me

i lost audio yesterday on a few MTV channels. all working fine now

the mtv channels with no sound, you can get the sound back by pressing the red button (lang) and selecting the second sound option,
