Trying to flash a spare 250 modem... Im getting so far then the following ... You need a TFTP server started and setup correctly, firewall disabled and yes, the Ethernet cable plugged in.

then i typed the commands and information in rather than copied and pasted as i think when i was copying and pasting i was copying extra spaces and not the correct file names. it then worked. hope this helps |

hi kinda new to this but when im trying to flash my 250 or 255 modem, i press "p" but an error comes up and says "console disabled by vendor" has anyone got a solution? thanks

You have the updated firmware - AIUI, you need a TSOP lift.
