Default Eurovox...

should the eurovox always be plugged in? it seems to be that alot of people who's eurovox's have stopped working is because they have went away somewhere for a while came back and its not been working. is their a certain amount of days that u can keep the eurovox turned off or unplugged. would just like to know as when im not watching my box i just press the power button on the remote which brings up the time on the front lcd panel on the box then i unplug it but i have never had it unplugged for more than about 2 days . so i would like to know if there is a certain amount of days u can have the box off.

Default Re: Eurovox...

Good question red devil, I too have wondered about this but cannot find the answer....these boxes seem shrouded in mystery, such as who actually makes them? personally I go along the lines that the Telewest box is designed to be left on all the time (so it can update etc) so thats what I do with the Eurovox I just leave it plugged in and on all the time ...I can not find anything, anywhere on the net, about the official line on how it should be operated....guess its down to the individual .... like you I have noticed that a lot of people experience problems sometimes after unplugging etc,so thats one reason for leaving them undisturbed ....
