Default Dodgy dbox

I have a nokia box that I bought ages ago, I was conned when I bought it as it only worked for just over a month before packing in.
I dragged it out to experiment with flashing etc and after trying different images I got it up and running with Sportster 1.10.
Great I thought, brilliant picture, fast channel change etc but I have one problem. Sometimes when I switch off and reboot I cant get the correct time to come back on. Does this mean that my tuner is duff? or is there a hopefully easier explanation?
Cheers....all help appreciated.

If you get pictures, just not the time. I wouldn't worry

If you're tuner's gone, you wouldn't get any pictures, or they would come on then go off - you can replace the tuner if you can be bothered to do it.

Lincsat, the problem is that I dont get any channels when the clock doesnt show the correct time.
If the correct time comes up at boot up I'm ok, if it comes up 1.00 clock then I get nothing.
Is there any image out there that forces the box to pick up the correct time signal at boot up?
Thanks for your patience...cheers

I suspect you have either a weak signal or more likely, your tuner is on it's way out and you're not getting any signal rather than just not getting the time signal - the time is transmitted as part of the data stream.

I would check all your connections are good and maybe have a gentle fiddle with the tuner in the back.
