Hi,
I am also learning this stuff, Did you sniff for Macs on you own pc, if so those macs are no good to prog a modem for your own use, you will have to swap / obtain a mac from different segment of your local network. TM |

Just get a valid mac from a neighbouring UBR and use that. With the 250 modems there is a telnet command to force config, done automatically with the configurator programs. With the Surfboard (hackware) just enter the config file name you want to force in the hack tab.
