ok mate so do u mean the underside of the main board ?
i will have a quick look now.

Also m8 what i have noticed with this box is that i downloads new firmware ok but when i try to do channel data from either the box to pc or pc to box it just doesnt reconise reciever.

Does anyone have any ideas how to check caps on main board if its not the joints ?

good question. it would be nice if some one could give correct reading for items on psu. its hard work to find something if your not sure what to look for.

The correct voltage readings are marked on the board, if you mean the capacitors then the only true way to check these is using an ESR meter, a multimeter will not check them it can only tell you if the cap is short circuit.
Also a capacitance bridge will not check them correctly but is better than a meter.
Look at any soldered joints and if they don't look nice and clean or if you suspect it then re-solder it.
Make sure you apply enough heat to the connector on the board where the power supply connects as the joints have to flow through the board to make contact on each side, so apply a little solder but make sure you don't cause a short between pins.( bad joints here is A common fault on these boxes).
