GO into system properties. then device manager, then lpt1, and make sure plug and play device is initialised, just tick the little box.

Go into my computer, click on veiw system information, in system properties click on hardware, click on device manager, double click on ports com and lpt, double click on ecp printer port lpt1, in com port properties click on port settings, tick little box enable legacy p+p detection, theres also a troubleshoot port box to click on.

when you said you had err 11 and 12 you have got cable disconnected havnt you ? It should say nit to be in debug mode. connect box up first and power it up before you open ocd or bke, sammy debug tool also works on pace boxes. what error are you getting now with ocd ?

after reading your problems and red trying to help you, red has gone through which sounds like everything the only thing it can be is youve soldered wrong gooner but i was thinking and im not entirely sure, but would a installed printer on the lpt1 affect the jtag hardware? does anybody know?
