Just take a piece of wire about 4inches or 100mm long ,strip the ends , and touch the ends one each side of the battery for about 10 secs.

If you have a twist tie, just strip the ends, there you have it a ready made length of wire. No need to go hunting in the shed/garage for a coil of wire, lol.

Hi There.
Just a warning! when you short out a battery you will pass a lot of current through the wire and it will get hot so be careful. Pete |
