Hi,
following advice on here and other forums I have bought a Jtag from Ebay.
Tailor-Made Circuits

I am a little stuck on connecting the Jtag.
Two things have stumped me.
1)The plug that goes into the back of my pc has little nut type things on it and unfortunatly so does my pc which prevents the plug from going into the socket (2 female nut type things).
2)I have located the diode do I just clip the Vcc wire onto it and anywhere on it?

Sorry but any help would be great!

Cant help about the diode bit but the you need to screw those nuts on the lead back a bit with your fingers perhaps on the lead so the plug will go into the socket then when its in screw them back up again to hold it in position ...the little nuts on the computer socket are there for the cable lead to screw into ...

as your looking down at the box with the front of it facing toward you it goes on the lets side of the diode....
