Could somebody please advise me......
I'm trying to reflash my nokia dbox2 with a sportster image using IFA but it keeps erroring!'
When i turn the box on the screen just stays on the sportster boot up page and the LCD says loading kernel.
Any ideas anyone?

Try a different Image.

look in the download section m8,not got a dbox but thats were i would start first !

Again, thansk to tekka84 and Javed,
I Have downloaded a new sportster image and also another image from the download section on here but still no joy!
The box will not even boot,
To be honest i'm not even sure if i am using IFA correctly?
Sorry to be a royal pain in the arse but could anyone help me out please?

Have you tried dbox2 for dummies guide? its widely available. follw that n u cant go wrong.

tried all that........
now banging my head up against the wall.
would anyone be prepared to look at it for me if i paid??

Check n see that you are using a crossover cable and not just a straight patch cable. this is important

OK, the process's and cables are definitely correct as i can connect to a different box with them!
It is this box that is the problem........
what i need to know is how can i cure the box (if indeed i can) when i can't even ping it!!
