Default eurovox disconectt

i have help someone set a box up in london

they told me there box had been disconected by virgin due to un authorised use

has anyone ever heard of this

eurovox max
they lost the signal and had to call out
i was fixed from outside the house
i can t see hows this happend
with out any letter of notification or written reason i am trying to get more info will post as i can get it

do they pay a subsciption ?... you dont say if they have cable tv or broadband?.. if they dont pay anything the cable company have every right to switch the line off...

Well since they called out Virgin and it got fixed it has to be assumed that the must have some sort of sub. the unauthorised use could mean anything really,line faults do occur for many reasons....Im just wondering when their box was disconnected ? before or after fitting the Eurovox?

they pay for broaband phone nad tv package the vox was on there for about a month before they were disconnectted
the reconect was done from outside the house i did not think there was any way that they could tell there was a box on the line

there are ways and means now but very rarely used as equipment is not widespread. Its not cost effective on a large scale.....

Well then the disconnect could have been caused by so many things ie. by someone in error,or just a line fault of some kind,too many to mention at least its fixed now I presume ...the term "unauthorised use" would be known only to Virgin ....

spoke to them again today they were reconnected for free with no problems
when they checked online it said unauthorised access to channel
im lost he is going to leave it a week or two then put the box back on
