Hey Tony. The best thing to do would be to search this or other forums for a 'channel dump' for your provider and area which is a file containing channels and their frequencies and generally sorted into favorite categories which you can upload to the Eurovox using a PC, null modem cable and piece of software called DnUpMan or voxer. I use DnUpMan. Alternatively, you can manually sort them into favorites by hitting menu on the remote, arrow right to 'channels' then select 'add favorites'. This will give you a list of channels which you can add to one or more of 8 favorites groups by hitting the appropriate coloured button (it only shows 1-4 onscreen, hit 'fav' on the remote to see 5-8). This takes a while and is a bit tedious but it's a case of which is best for you.

Connect your pc via the null modem cable to the eurovox. Fire up voxer and select utilities/Receive service file (or press ctrl+R). Once it's uploaded goto tools/favourites manager (ctrl+G) and click the + sign besides each Fav catagory. Then simply drag and drop the channels to the positions u want them to appear in. When you have finished select file/save CDF file (ctrl+q) and then upload this back to your box using utilities/send service file (Ctrl+t). The channels will then appear in your newly selected order. You may be lucky and find a current CDF file for your area as slugbait76 suggested, try searching for your area +cdf. |

Well I just posted one here for N@L Ireland, so I'd search the forum for one or make a post requesting one for your area and provider. I'd recommend signing up to satfilesDOTcoDOTuk and forumsDOTdigitalworldzDOTcoDOTuk (sorry won't let me post links). They both have sections dedicated to this sort of thing for the Eurovox and others and, again, you can post a request. I wouldn't hang around though because you could just make your own. Follow the steps in my other post to organise the channels into favorites, then connect it to your pc and you can save a copy of it to a .cdf file using voxer etc., so you have a backup.

Just to throw a spanner in the works!
If the newest firmware is design to prevent use of spurious loaders like VOXER, I would be very careful of using it. Another option would be to set up Favourits lists and sort your channels in this way. |

I've never used Voxer but have used DnUpMan with the Max V loaded with the Sept firmware without issue so far. But, yeah, as I said before, favs can be sorted manually too.
