Jtag help for a beginner

I have several black boxes (and a couple of red boxes) I need to Jtag as they were killed by firmware updates (they are not clones).

I have bought a Jtag from TMC and have the software to go ahead (skymax), but I'm wondering is there any sort of step by step guide online to help with the first time I do it?

also is there any way for me to take a Black box TSOP from a working box rather than flash them with the Red box TSOP

I've just put together an instruction/demo presentation on how to Jtag a Eurovox using Jkeys 2_9_11, I'm also just finishing off a full step by step guide (presentation) of connecting Jtag cable, Flashing chip, and final setup, this should be ready in a day or two.

The only problem is that they are ".exe" files and this forum will not allow me to post them (I already have the one, on flashing, using Jkeys 2_9_11 on another forum).

Maby one of the 'mods' can let me know how I can let everyone have access to them.

I have flashed 7 black box's and 1 red box already and the step by step guides I have put together go through all steps.

Can I ask you which TSOP you used to flash the Black Boxes, did you use the Red box TSOP?

Yeh, I used the Red Tsop, its the only one available at the moment. I'll re-flash if and when a Tsop file comes out for the Black ones.

Worked a treat, got my first Red Box working again. Which Firmware, which software (i.e. what version of DnUpMan) do you recommend for the re-flashed boxes? I don't actually have any older firmwares still on my computer so can I just use the latest Red FW or will it die again?
