Hi Kakashii

i am gonna try to remove the battery to reset teh jumber will remove it for a hour
To reboot the BIOS you only need to remove the Motherboard battery for three minutes, as you are not getting power to your complete system, the test i asked you to perform failed >

as for you Power supply (PSU) disconnect the Motherboard cable and see if an optical drive tray will open ?
you will need to replace the PSU, and i would suggest 400 to 500w PSU depending on what you intend as for upgrades (etc) Please note my Father, Brother and myself build Computers - Motherboard risers and screws do need to be used in all of the Motherboard mounting holes that aline with the case, to only use some is not good building practice as parts of a Motherboard contract and expand with heating up and cooling down.

ok i admit to shoddy building practices by not using all the screws on the mb
i only ever build my own so the only person i can blame..............is me

follow cindy's advice and you won't go wrong

Hi cindy ive read with interest what you have discovered and i think you have hit it right on the button. As i have had 3 power supplies different makes none of them well known and they all failed to boot after 12mths use and none of them showed a fault on any of the power lines. So i purchase a 580 watt hiper and so far no trouble i think this may serve as a warning to people who want to build there own pc not to skip on a good quality power supply as it may save you a lot of trouble in the future .

OK I'm not sure if you will be looking at SLI but Tiger Direct is a good place to start >>> Ultra X-Finity PSU 600-Watt just an example and not a bad price
