Good idea because the suggested power supply for your Motherboard is 400w so 500w should be fine, but if its faulty (try to get your $$$ back, and good luck with that )

thanks for all the help, but i just go my power supply replaced, had one question!

what is the difference in main power connector 20pins and 20+4pins, how does those two make a difference! my mother board can handle either one of them! i have to plugin two things to mother board main power connector and the CPU power connector! so again whats the difference and why and can you please reply back thank you!

my old power supply didn't have 20+4, it only had 20! just to let you know!

edit: just read this some wherer:
"20-pin "old standard" ATX motherboard connector or 24-pin "new standard" ATX motherboard connector (the four pins added are to provide power to the PCI-E port for a graphics card). Most newer motherboards sport 24-pin connectors, so buy a compatible PSU (this standard is called ATX 2.0, and its latest version is the ATX 2.2 specification; be sure to look for 24-pin ATX connector support especially if your motherboard has a PCI-E X16 graphics slot and you plan to use it)."

well my graphic card was working fine even with out the extra four pins, it's fan or some thing is plunged in to the motherboard! what you say! can that matter!

Hi Kakashii

As your Motherboard supports 24 pin power i would use 24 pin power, some more on your Motherboard >>> Here
