can i hack a preconfigured modem???

ok, i have a siemens speedstream 4100 Modem
and i cant connect to it by the 192.168.1.1 or whatever it is called
but will i be able to hack it anyway???
i belive the modem is preconfigured so i would assume that is why i cant connect to it
and another thing does anyone know if hacken the modem will work in denmark????

You are asking how to access the siemens speedstream 4100 Modem settings in your browser address bar type http : // speedstream "without the spacers" got to advanced and you should see your settings.

the modem have been preconfigured by my ASDL provider

And you have tried using your IP addy ? it may be an idea to contact your ISP and ask them about access to your Modem, as it will be configurable.

Your IP address >>> Open up the start menu, and click Run type cmd in the Open: box, and click Okay. The will bring up a black command prompt window now type ipconfig /all in that window, and then press the enter key you will see your IP Address

In your browser address bar type >>> 83.95.194.141 as this is the IP you are showing it should get you in to the Modem, but also try your other addresses, if all fails do contact your ISP, hope you get there

83.95.194.141 is my computer. where i run a apache server :P
and i have tried all of the adresse´s.
read somewhere that my provider does something to the modem so the user cant modify it or connect to it..

I would still contact them as there is no reason why you should not access the settings, if they say No ask for your MAC code "i would" good luck with it

In order for you to access your Speedstream 4100 or 5100 modem in the internet adress bar all you type is 192.168.0.1 thats how you access your modems configuration...
