Default Chippy

Hi All

I have a mate how just gave me his ntl box, as i sorted his Dbox out, it is already chipped but no longer decodes, never even thought bout sortting it, but as it not costing anything thought i would have a play.

Is it easy to re program the boxes ?

Is there any noobie how to's?

New to this cable stuff, ok with all the satelite stuff though, so hopefully i should be able to figure it out easily.

Depends on which card you have, there are tuts for them. the pace novice angel guide is a good place to start.

Help

I dont understand why i cant read any of the cards using the Nagraedit. Does this only work with the original MOSC cards ?

I have a fun card, which was working with the box, which when read in ROMstudio asks for a password, which i have no i have no idea what it is.

Is it best just to use proggy like RippedHex to create the eprom files ?

Must appreciation for any help given.

Read the card with your Fun card programmer and save to your PC, open the extEE file with Nagraedit as ROM11, edit the file then re-save and then re-program your card.
