im on the midd config at the moment i would like to change it to the max config if possible

If you're ex NTL, I would have thought the Bund03 config would be favourite - it's 20 Meg

It depends on the modem. SB4xxx series with Hackware, you go straight to the hack tab. With the Ambits, you can use the Ambit tool.

i have the blue 250 one i dnt wanna mess it up and be without the internet but id rather have 20meg than 10meg lol so if there is a program that will just change the config file could u tell me which 1 thanx will probs also need sum instructions sorry to be a pain

Then the 250 configurator is the best bet, there are instructions with it. Basically open the program, connect to the modem (which reads the existing details) change the config file name and write the settings back to the modem, a re-boot of the modem will start it with the changed settings.

will all my other settings stay the same like my mac address and ip address then and will the modem still work if all i change is the config
