Default Eurovox Max V Kuro Good Or Bad

how many are having problems with this release.
mine seems fine (so far) picked up same amount of transponders and all the channels it did before, the picture also seems fine.
looking on here seems more are having problems than not

mine works as before in reguards to picture and tuning. channel change is alot faster and no more button lagg.

The fav's has improved no end now with the 'whats on the channel aswell' when flicking through the stations.

can't understand it
getting all the channels and picture is crisp and clear here
i just hope it stay this way cos i like the new favs settings would hate to have to go back now.
but if most are having problems shouldn't be too long before a new update is out hopefully.

I've found that if you upgrade from a previous version with all your channels already on the box , then no problems, in fact a great improvement.

But if you clear all channels load the software then do a rescan you will only pick up a handfull of channels, requiring you to either manually input the freq or do a channel dump.

It seems to have a problem picking everything up in Power Scan.

Big improvement though.

The release notes say this firmware has an updated tuner driver, it seems it's not quite right for all conditions - but if the signal's right, then the firmware is good.

read elsewhere that the break ups etc is because the signal is too strong
and after using an attenuator the problem was solved

I have a stack of attenuators, so I'll try that when I get some time and let you all know.
