Default Eurovox Max V channel renaming question

I have a Max V which I'm really pleased with. One thing I find annoying is this - I've renamed and reorganised all of the channels. If I scan for new channels, the customised order of my current channels stays the same with any new channels added to the end of the list (which is good), but the names of all of the channels revert to the defaults (which is bad). Is there any way to stop this from happening? It takes ages to sort everything out, and then every time VM add a new channel or move things around, I have to do a scan and there goes my customised names. Is this just something I'm going to have to live with?

Afraid so, unless you just do a manual scan on the one freq affected, then it will only rename those on that freq.

use the ufl maxv programme to upload your channel data ounce you have sorted them and save the file... the next time you loose any just download the cdf (channel data file) back to your eurovox.. also you can veiw your saved cdf file and edit it with voxer proggy

Thanks for the reply, but it's not losing the channels that's a problem. It's when VM shuffle the channels around, or add new ones. Then I'm forced to do a scan, which will rename all of my channels, and if I restore the channel list from a backup, I'd lose any new channels found in the scan.

This is all fine, except on the one I have, manual scan does not work at all.
